Looking for more ways to Give for Good?

We know that support comes in all shapes and sizes. Once you’ve made your Annual Campaign pledge — and maybe even considered a Capital Campaign contribution, too — we welcome all families, individuals, and corporate supporters to explore a variety of other impactful ways you can help MAKE GOOD HAPPEN every day!

Corporate Support

Build relationships. Strengthen community. Grow your brand. For GOOD!

Connect your business with thousands of community-minded families, professionals, retirees, and more from across Durham, Orange, Chatham, and Alamance counties through meaningful experiences, trusted relationships, and visible community impact.

Sponsorship connects your brand to the full ecosystem of Jewish life across Durham and its surrounding communities, well beyond a single moment in time. Because we’re not just hosting events, we’re building something bigger, together and for GOOD:

Change for Good

A New Way to Give That Makes a Big Impact, One Small Purchase at a Time

We're excited to launch a new partnership with local start-up RoundUp, whose platform makes everyday generosity effortless. Just link your Visa or Mastercard, and RoundUp will "round up" each of your purchases to the nearest dollar, sending your spare change to Jewish for Good every month.

It’s easy: Once you've connected your Visa or Mastercard, we'll round up each of your transactions to the nearest dollar and process one charge per month for the total amount of that "spare change."

It’s safe: RoundUp uses high-level encryption required by Visa and Mastercard to securely process donations, and Jewish for Good receives your support monthly, less a small processing fee. You can set monthy caps and pause donations anytime.

It’s powerful: Spare change adds up! Donating $10 or $20 each month helps across the organization — from providing snacks for kids in our after-school programs to helping defray the costs of bringing a visiting artist to our community... and so much more!

It’s all for GOOD: Your change supports Jewish for Good's Annual Campaign, funding the programs, events, and services that bring our community to life every day!

Tribute Gifts

Honor a Loved One or Life Milestone with Dedicated Support

Tributes are a meaningful way to mark life’s most cherished moments — from birthdays to yahrzeits, new babies to new beginnings — while giving back to your J.

These gifts are a meaningful and unique way to pay tribute to someone/something special in your life while also supporting Jewish for Good, now and into the future.

Each gift, no matter the size, helps support the people and programs that make the Jewish for Good the vibrant heart of our community.

There are two types of Tribute Gifts:

  1. Memorial (honoring someone who has passed away)

  2. Honor (honoring someone’s accomplishment)

  • Some examples of honor gifts include:

    Marriage • Anniversary • B’nai Mitzvah • Birthday • Graduations • Other meaningful moments

These timeless gifts provide vital financial aid to our organization and allow us to continue to thrive for many years to come. Tributes can be designated to a specific program or cause, as desired.

With your tribute, we will send a personalized card to your honoree or their loved ones, letting them know a donation has been made in their honor or memory. You can choose the fund closest to your heart and make a one-time gift or become a monthly donor to make ongoing impact. Your tribute honoree will also be recognized in our annual giving honor roll — cementing their name among our most cherished community of supporters.

Simply click on the button below to make your tribute today! Then, select “Tributes” in the CAMPAIGN field and choose the specific program to which you’d like to give (example: Tributes – Camp Scholarships).

Jewish Community Foundation

Plan Today for a Vibrant Tomorrow

The Jewish Community Foundation fosters and supports members of our community in fulfilling their social, educational, and philanthropic goals while maintaining the longstanding Jewish traditions of pursuing tzedakah (charitable giving) and tikkun olam (repairing the world).

Turn your donation to Jewish for Good into grants or disbursements that support all your most cherished nonprofit organizations through the establishment of a Donor-advised Fund (DAF), an Endowment, and/or a Life & Legacy Fund.

In-Kind Support

Giving is More than Dollars!

Every year we rely on the generous support of our community for specific items to help meet program needs and defray miscellaneous costs as they arise.

We’re constantly collecting non-perishable and hygiene items for our Food Pantry. Seasonally, we have other calls for requests: each winter, we collect childrens books in support of our partners at Book Harvest. Every Hanukkah, we look for folks to help shine some extra light in support of local families in need by sponsoring gifts from their holiday wish lists.

Check out our weekly email communications for more about opportunities to support our evolving in-kind support needs!

Vehicle Donations

Selling your ride?

Jewish for Good partners with CARS, a charitable program that lets people donate the proceeds from their car sales to non-profit organizations. Contact us for more information about donating a car, truck, or other vehicle.
