The Jewish Community Foundation fosters and supports the members of our community in fulfilling their social, educational, and charitable philanthropic goals and maintaining the long-standing Jewish traditions of pursuing tzedakah and tikkun olam.
We strive to accomplish this by:
Empowering donors to convert generous ideas into deliberate action;
Serving as a central hub and advocate for charitable giving to help individuals, families, and community organizations achieve their charitable goals; and
Receiving, administering, investing, and disbursing funds to ensure the viability of our community life for generations to come.
Each year the funds held at the Jewish Community Foundation convert generous ideas into deliberate action through the grants and disbursements made. These grants and disbursements support Jewish and secular nonprofits locally and beyond. Annually the Foundation tends to grant and distribute approximately $800,000.
Ways to Plan Today
It is our goal to assist you on a personal and confidential basis to create the most meaningful gift possible. Gifts can be funded with cash, securities, or illiquid assets. We can also help you to create a lasting legacy that will be funded at a later date or as an after-lifetime gift. This can be accomplished through bequests, life insurance, or retirement plans.
