ELEMENTARY ADMISSIONS

ADMISSIONS POLICY

At The Lerner School, we seek to attract children who show a willingness to participate and perform at their personal best, whose aptitude will allow them to thrive in our learning environment, and whose character will add to the strength of our school community. Our students represent the diversity of the Jewish community, coming from over 20 zip codes in the Triangle area, a broad socioeconomic range, and varying levels of Jewish observance.

While our curriculum requires that students are capable and motivated, The Lerner School accepts students representing a range of learning styles. We have a robust student support team to provide support and we welcome partnerships to provide specific services to students onsite that are beyond the supports our team can provide. As a small school we recognize we are limited to the scope of services we can provide and reserve the right to accept students whose needs may extend beyond our capacity.

The Lerner School does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, creed, religion or national origin, and will admit non-Jewish students who are comfortable raising their children in a Jewish setting.
