JEWISH FOOD FESTIVAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

All proceeds support Jewish for Good’s Food Pantry, which provides non-perishable food, fresh produce, and hygiene essentials to dozens of local families each month.
We are looking forward to seeing you all rain or shine at the Levin JCC (1937 W. Cornwallis Road, Durham NC 27705) on Sunday March 15!

We have updated our security procedures and check in will now be in your car in the Lerner parking lot loop on our campus.
When you arrive on campus, make the first right near the Lerner school.
Follow the loop around and staff will be waiting to check you in and give you your event wristbands.
Staff will direct you to available parking.
Show your wristband to enter at the blue Welcome Tent at the front doors of Jewish for Good.

This year, in order to have the most people enjoy the event with the smoothest parking and festival experience, entry is by timed ticket. You can choose a ticket for 2-4pm or 4-6pm.
All food items will be available at both times, and similar performances, demos, and activities will be available at both times.
Don’t miss out! This year’s Jewish Food Festival is sure to sell out, so be sure to snag your entry tickets in advance!

Included in your ticket are parking, event entry, performances, kids’ activities, giveaways, and surprises.
Food and drinks are available for purchase and not included in your ticket.
All event proceeds support our Food Pantry.

After your IN-CAR CHECK-IN at The Lerner School, our team will direct you to available parking at the Levin JCC, Judea Reform Congregation, or The Lerner School.
Overflow parking is in the School for Visual and Digital Arts lot next door on Cornwallis. All shuttle riders must have pre-purchased tickets for the Jewish Food Festival.
Shuttle service runs 2pm-6:15pm. -
Check in IN YOUR CAR in front the The Lerner School to get your event wristband.
If you pre-ordered a t-shirt, you will pick it up at the blue Welcome Tent in front of the Levin JCC.
Volunteers at the J will pass out maps of the event with listings of food vendors, activities, and performance schedule indoors and outdoors.

Various food stations offer kosher, gluten-free, and vegan selections. These options will be clearly marked on your map.
If you have allergies, please ask the staff at each vendor booth for allergen information.

Each food station is handling its own payment. All accept cash, some accept credit card, and some accept Venmo/Paypal/CashApp.
There is NOT an ATM on site.

For those with sensory needs, headphones are provided, and a sensory-friendly Shalom Zone will be marked on the map at entry.
Mobility parking is available at the front of the building, including spots for those with mobility needs but not a handicap tag. Note that the parking shuttle is not wheelchair accessible.
All indoor and outdoor spaces are wheelchair accessible, including the Preminger Family Amphitheater.

Our attendees’ safety and security are top of mind. While we cannot share details of our security procedures, please know that Security officers will be on site, and everyone must check in at entry.
No weapons allowed on campus.

Jewish for Good’s Food Pantry provides essential groceries, fresh produce, and hygiene items
We serve dozens of local families each month, from all backgrounds.
You can drop off donations of non-perishable food at the Jewish Food Festival, and every day in the collection bin in our Weiss Family Lobby.
Most needed items are unexpired canned tuna, tomato sauce, beans, fruits and vegetables, or peanut butter, as well as hygiene items like toilet paper, toothpaste, and shampoo.
