There are many ways to Give for GOOD. Discover yours today!
Make GOOD Happen With Your Support
Jewish for Good is a local, community-serving 501(c)(3) nonprofit — and everything we do is powered by YOU. From high-impact social services to joyful Jewish connection, from inclusive wellness to lifelong learning, your generosity makes it all possible.
Each year, more than 25% of our operating budget comes from philanthropic gifts made by donors like you. That’s why we rely on broad-based support (annual giving, capital investment, tribute gifts, corporate sponsorship, and more) to sustain the work that uplifts our community and enriches lives across Durham, Chapel Hill, and beyond.
Give today. Give your way. Help us keep making good happen — together.

Many of our programs and events are made possible with the support of local caring businesses—whether via corporate sponsorship, in-kind contributions, employer gift matching, etc.
Sponsorship is a GREAT way to showcase your business to 7,500+ households across Durham, Orange, Alamance, and Chatham counties, offering you direct access to a diverse group of professional, well-educated, socially conscious, family-oriented, local influencers and consumers. With a variety of both year-round and event/program-specific sponsorship options available, the possibilities for partnership are truly endless!
We also love and appreciate in-kind support in all forms! In the floral business and looking to get your name out there through donated product at high-visibility events? Got a wine shop and want to provide the beverages for our Ignite Speaker Series? Own a jewelry store and want to donate a special piece as a high stakes raffle prize or auction item? Let us know what ideas you have!
You may be able to double or even triple your impact by taking advantage of your employer’s corporate gift matching program. These programs are an excellent way for donors to maximize their personal contributions to Jewish for Good without any additional cost to the individual/family.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN FAQs
-
Jewish for Good’s Annual Campaign is the most instrumental vehicle in allowing us to do good for the community we so proudly serve. It’s what makes it possible for us to show up every single day for the people who count on us across Durham, Chapel Hill, and beyond.
Annual Campaign support goes beyond funding any single program or building; it enables all the good we do every day—whether offering resources to a family in crisis, providing a safe space for children to learn and grow, enabling holistic wellness through transformative personal services, or creating meaningful moments of connection through Jewish life, culture, and values. The Annual Campaign powers it all.

With so many meaningful ways to give for good, we certainly appreciate your help in making sure that all Annual Campaign contributions are clearly indicated as such!
For online gifts, please select 2025 Annual Campaign in the Campaign field to ensure that your donation is routed accordingly. Check out our quick-and-easy video tutorials for additional online giving support, whether you’re making your gift from a Jewish for Good member account OR donating without a membership.
For all other methods of payment (whether by check, stock transfer, DAF grant, IRA disbursement, etc.), please ensure that Jewish for Good Annual Campaign Contribution is noted in the memo line to avoid any potential confusion upon receipt.
-
Jewish for Good’s Annual Campaign runs in accordance with the organization’s fiscal year, which begins on October 1 and extends through September 30 of the following year.
-
Yes! To submit your Annual Campaign “pledge” (commitment), email Rae at rwilliams@jewishforgood.org with your confirmed gift amount, after which we can work together to iron out the payment details (format, timeline, etc.) from there.
Annual Campaign pledges can be paid online—either as a one-time payment or as recurring monthly payments—or by check, donor-advised fund, stock transfer, IRA distribution, trust, etc.
-
No, there is no minimum gift amount. While our online giving portal requires a credit card payment of $10 or more, every dollar helps! Plus, all donors who contribute ANY non-zero amount to the Jewish for Good Annual Campaign are eligible for inclusion on our Annual Giving Honor Roll, and as voting “members” at our annual meeting in October.
With both one-time and recurring monthly payment options available, it’s our hope that supporting Jewish for Good’s Annual Campaign is something that everyone can include in their yearly charitable giving plans at whatever level feels best/right for YOU.
-
Yes! All supporters who commit at least $1800 per year to Jewish for Good’s Annual Campaign are considered leadership donors. With three core leadership giving levels—Forging the Way ($1800+), Paving the Way ($3600+), and Leading the Way ($5000+)—our beloved leadership giving community sustains our organization day in and day out. We could not accomplish all the GOOD we do without them!

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FAQs
-
The opening of the Levin JCC in 2011 ushered in a host of new community-building services, but since then we have reached the limit of what we can accomplish in our current facilities. To meet the needs of our local Jewish community through the 2020s and beyond, our most recent strategic planning process identified an urgent need for expanded facilities to offer an array of new and improved mission-centered programs and services.
Our incredible campus-wide developments made possible by the Building for Good Capital Campaign include:
NEW Early Childhood Learning Center
NEW Gindes Adult Day Center, with designated entrance
NEW Preminger Family Amphitheater
NEW playgrounds, gardens, and other greenspaces
NEW Gladys & Earl Siegel Covered Entrance to the Levin JCC
NEW designated sensory spaces
Enhanced sound and lighting in our Schechter Community Hall
More parking!

With such beautiful new spaces now open and active across our beloved campus, this historic campaign has already made a transformative impact both within and beyond our walls. We are so close to reaching our $10.5 million fundraising goal; don’t miss the chance to leave your mark as we welcome in an exciting new era at Jewish for Good.

Yes! Unlike annual campaign gifts, all capital campaign contributions are payable over three years. To submit your Capital Campaign “pledge” (commitment), please complete and submit a Building for Good pledge card via email to Rae at rwilliams@jewishforgood.org.
-
No. For a variety of tax reporting reasons, annual campaign gifts and capital campaign gifts must be allocated and recorded as entirely separate donations. While annual campaign gifts are counted toward recognition in Jewish for Good’s Annual Giving Honor Roll, capital campaign contributions are not.
With questions about annual versus capital campaign giving, please contact Rae at rwilliams@jewishforgood.org.

Yes! With options ranging from $18,000 to $3M, any/all interested supporters are invited to help us complete so many of the beautiful new spaces already transforming how we serve our community by lending your name (or the name of a loved one) to whichever piece of Jewish for Good’s newly expanded campus feels most meaningful to you.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest in our community’s future—and with all gifts payable over three years, it’s our hope that participation will feel accessible to all who care deeply about the GOOD we do for generations to come!
