Keeping Our Community Safe

The safety of our members, staff, and guests is our highest priority. Jewish for Good works every day to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels secure, supported, and welcomed.

Our comprehensive safety program combines professional expertise, community awareness, and strong partnerships with law enforcement and national Jewish security organizations.

SECURE COMMUNITIES NETWORK (SCN)

Jewish for Good partners with the Secure Community Network (SCN)—the official homeland security and safety organization for the North American Jewish community. Through SCN, we gain access to real-time intelligence, security consultations, and specialized training designed for Jewish communal spaces.

Together, we:

  • Conduct facility assessments and safety drills

  • Offer training for staff, members, and partner organizations on situational awareness and emergency preparedness

  • Coordinate closely with local law enforcement and first responders

  • Share timely information about emerging threats and best practices

Our partnership with SCN helps ensure that Jewish for Good remains a welcoming, resilient, and well-prepared community center for all.
