Our Community

Jewish for Good is nestled in the Triangle area of North Carolina, primarily serving Durham, Orange, Chatham, and Alamance Counties.

The region lies in the heart of the state and was so named because of the three close-by cities, each home to one of the state’s most well-regarded universities: Duke University in Durham, The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

The estimated population of the local Jewish community that we serve at Jewish for Good is:

  • Approximately 15,000 individuals

  • Of these households, 52% live in Durhan County, 41% live in Orange County, and 7% live in Chatham, Alamance, and other surrounding counties.

  • AND we are growing! In the next 10 years, we can anticipate continued growth!
