Camp Shelanu 2027 will run at Jewish for Good's Youth & Camp Hub, a new space on our campus dedicated to the next generation of Jewish life.

Summer at Camp Shelanu feels like possibility. Every day, campers walk into a day built around them — a place to create, explore, make friends, and try something new, with counselors who know their names by Tuesday.

From messy art projects to high-energy sports, no two days at Camp Shelanu look the same. One afternoon, campers might be creating their own custom Camp Shelanu coloring book; the next, they're diving hands-first into slime-filled science experiments or learning about inclusion and teamwork through a raucous game of cooperative musical chairs. Add in STEAM challenges, nature adventures, and campers running their own activities, and summer quickly fills with stories campers can't wait to tell at home.

Every camper swims daily — and swim lessons are included in tuition for those who need them.

At Camp Shelanu, inclusion isn't bolted on — it's baked in. As a National Inclusion Project–accredited camp, we're intentional about making sure every child feels welcomed and able to participate fully. Our specialty camp options give campers room to follow their interests, while our inclusive culture meets each camper where they are.

Rooted in Jewish values like kindness, giving, welcoming newcomers, and repairing the world (tikkun olam), campers explore Jewish culture and traditions without any religious instruction. We welcome campers of all backgrounds, faiths, and identities. Families of all shapes and sizes welcome — and our diverse community is one of the things families love most about us.

Camp Shelanu is one of the Triangle's most beloved camps, including previous INDY Week Best Summer Day Camp honors. But the real measure of our success is the way campers can't stop talking about their day — and can't wait to come back tomorrow.
